The Distance Learning Program is designed to aid parents in acquiring positive parenting skills and increasing their knowledge of a child’s social, physical, and emotional development. We offer a wide selection of topics for the infant through the teen years.

Materials (packets/videos) are checked out to students who meet with a teacher once a week to discuss their individual concerns. Packets are available in English, Spanish, and Chinese. This program has been approved by some courts for individuals who are required to take a parenting course. For more information, please call 626.258.5913. A non-refundable $10 fee is required

     Este curso está disenado para ayudar a los padres de niños preescolares (desde el nacimiento hasta los cinco años) a adquirir conocimientos de padres positivos, así como el conocimiento social, físico, intelectual y su desarrollo emocional.

Esto se hace a través de la observación de sus niños estimulándolos a jugar en un ambiente creativo. El padre (o un tutor legal, la persona que lo cuida o un familiar, etc.) y el niño asisten a clases juntos. Habrá una cuota no reembolsable de $10.00 para cubrir el costo de los materiales.      Este programa está especialmente disenado para preparar al niño para la educación preescolar. Los padres adelantan su conocimiento sobre el crecimiento del niño y el desarrollo a través de la participación en actividades.

Los requisitos para Especial Cuatro son (1) el niño debe de tener por lo menos 4 años cumplidos antes del 1 de diciembre de 2010, (2) no hermanos (excepto gemelos, etc.) serán permitidos assistir a clases.      This course is designed to aid parents of preschool children (ages birth through five) acquire skills in positive parenting as well as knowledge of social, physical, intellectual, and emotional development. This is done through observation of their children at play in a stimulating and creative environment.

     This program is especially organized to prepare the child for kindergarten. The parents further their knowledge of child growth and development through active participation.

Requirements for Special Four are (1) the child must be a least 4 years old on/or before December 1, 2010, (2) No siblings (except twins, etc.) are allowed to attend class. Parent and child must attend class together. There will be a non-refundable $10.00 fee for materials. Please check with the teacher for details.
